Cairns SheSails
Cairns SheSails is all about getting women on the water, building confidence, learning new skills, and having fun while sailing together.
What We Do
We run a mix of SheSails activities throughout the year, including:
Land Events – relaxed, social catch-ups where we learn about sailing theory, seamanship, safety, navigation, racing basics and cruising skills.
Water Events – social and hands-on sailing sessions where we get out on the water to practise skills, build confidence, and enjoy sailing together. These sessions are weather and boat availability dependent.
Skills Building – structured sessions for women who want to improve their keelboat skills as crew and/or helms, supported by qualified instructors and experienced sailors.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take the next step, our activities are designed to support learning, confidence and connection on the water.

are new to sailing and want to give it a go
