Ellis Beach Annual Regatta 2026!

Friday 26 June – Arrival and camping from 4:00pm

Saturday 27 June & Sunday 28 June – Ellis Beach Annual Regatta

Join us for a fantastic weekend of off-the-beach racing, camping, social activities and great company at one of the best sailing venues in Tropical North Queensland.

The weekend includes:

• Competitive racing across a range of off-the-beach classes
• Camping at Ellis Beach 
• Catering and bar facilities
• A special outdoor screening of You Always, filmed in part right here at Cairns Yacht Club, Ellis Beach
• Prize presentations and social activities

Camping is free for competitors. Family and friends are welcome to camp with competitors for $8 per person, per night. Due to limited space, campers are asked to keep set-ups modest in size and within designated camping areas shown on the site map.

Competitors are strongly encouraged to register as early as possible. Early registrations assist with race management, catering, bar supplies, camping allocations, safety planning and volunteer resourcing.
